Thank you for contacting Amazon WWAM. Please review the following package submission guidlines to ensure accuracy and a prompt approval.
The Project Package in SIM must include:
- One (1) complete set of permit-ready drawings as applicable.
- One (1) complete set of material handling or other design drawings as applicable.
- A compliant Contractor Certificate of Insurance (COI).
- Other documents as applicable: vendor quotes, pictures, maps of location changes, etc…
Process:
1. Project Sponsor contacts RAM to request an Alteration at the facility. RAM reviews the project details and may provide additional guidance if the lease is close to expiration. Important: If the lease is set to expire within 1-2 years RAM should explore the businesses renewal intention and minimize impact to AMZN’s lease negotiation efforts.
2. RAM/AM forwards the Landlord Consent SIM link to the project.
3. Project Sponsor to complete the SIM and required fields included in the Landlord Consent SIM Creation link.
4. AM/RAM to Regional
5. AM/RAM will submit all project details directly to landlord once the SIM is completed by the project sponsor. AM/RAM will drive consent and liaise directly with the landlord until project approval is received.
a. Landlords have up to 20 business days to respond with approvals and/or requests for more information. 6. Landlord will review project details and provide approval/disapproval to the AM/RAM.
7. AM/RAM will provide approval status updates in the SIM and notify the project sponsor when the project is fully approved and the project can commence.
8. AM/RAM will work directly with the project sponsor on any project close out documents or additional landlord requirements that may be subject to the project approval.
